It has cooking indicators in order to help you keep watch over the stages of cooking sugar.
The sugar cooking indicators are: syrup, thread, soft ball, firm ball, hard ball, soft crack, hard crack, barley sugar and caramel.
It allows you to measure the cooking temperature when making jam and other preparations with high sugar content.
Graded from +80° to +200° C, precise to 1°C.
Thermometer in a plastic food grade grey sheath that can be sterilised, large size (35 cm), hanging hook.
The lower sector to immerse measures 9 cm.
This thermometer does not contain mercury.
