Cooking a la plancha has a lot of flavor advantages. Done at high temperatures, it is often referred to as "sear" cooking. On the hot plate, the food is instantly seared, caramelized without being denatured. Meat, fish, shellfish, vegetables ... thus retain all their juices and flavors.

Recipe for caramelized pineapple slices with a melting heart

A little sweet note that you can eat without hunger!
Peel 1 very ripe pineapple, remove the "eyes" and cut it into slices about 2 cm thick and hollow out the core.
In a dish, mix 5 tablespoons of brown sugar with the juice of 1 lemon. Coat each slice with this preparation and let marinate in the refrigerator.
Place them on the plate of your hot plancha (around 150 ° C). Turn the slices over when they start to have a nice golden color, and a caramelized crust forms.
About 5 minutes on each side. Collect the cooking juices to coat the pineapple slices on a plate.
For the finishing touch:
drop a few raspberries ...
sprinkle a few mint leaves ...
Serve the pineapple slices with a scoop of ice cream ...
