The Hungarian blue pumpkin is a very long old variety, with plants reaching 150 to 400 cm. Produces 2 to 4 fruits per plant of 3 to 10 kg of blue / gray color and 15 to 25 cm in diameter. Orange-yellow flesh, very thick and dense, sweet and not very sweet, of excellent quality. Very good conservation, from 3 to 6 months.  

Sowing under shelter: February-March-April-May.
Full ground sowing: March-April-May-June in sunny exposure.
Sowing aid: sowing in buckets under shelter at a temperature between 18 and 20 ° C. In the ground, sow after the last frosts.
