Stainless steel plancha plate.
The first thing that you notice about this plancha is its stainless steel plate. It is made of professional quality 304 L food-grade stainless steel and is 3 mm thick. Its raised edges added to its transverse reinforcement bar and its thickness give it excellent rigidity. Unlike low quality plates, this one will not be warped or distorted.
Stainless steel, easy to maintain and resistant, can remain outside in any weather, even at the seaside. Odors disappear between two dishes at the same time as the cooking juices. For this, very cold water or ice cubes to deglaze on the hot plate before wiping it will give you an impeccable result.
Cooking meat after fish is therefore not a problem, just like cooking a complete meal from starter to dessert with the same plancha and without wasting time in tedious cleaning.
Stainless steel is easy to clean, including at the end of cooking, just plug the hole, pour a little ice water and scrape it off. The cook can sit down at the table with his guests and eat hot! In the lower right corner of the plancha is the hole for the evacuation of fats and cooking juices. The turn of this evacuation is stamped to allow the juice to evacuate itself, without stagnating around the orifice.

The Baigura plancha is the only model equipped with an extractor hood integrated in the tilting cover. This innovation was also awarded a medal at the Lépine competition, the great French competition for inventions.

The cover is made of rust resistant galvanized steel and is powder coated with black baked paint.  

2 kW resistance with thermostat.
The second essential point for a gas plancha is its power. Indeed, it is necessary to be able to heat the plate quickly and uniformly.
The 2000-watt, 10-ampere electrical resistance ensures a rise in temperature in 5 minutes on the entire stainless steel cooking plate. A galvanized metal plate under the resistance acts as a heat reflector to accelerate the rise in temperature and limit the loss of calories.
The temperature is adjustable from 50 to 300 ° C with a large thermostat button on the front panel.

18/10 stainless steel casing.
All the casing, including the control panel and the sides are in 18/10 non-ferritic stainless steel. This means that this stainless steel is particularly resistant to corrosion.
