Stainless steel griddle plate.
The first thing we notice on this plancha is its stainless steel plate. It is made of food grade 304 L stainless steel and is 3 mm thick. Its raised edges added to its transverse reinforcement bar and its thickness give it excellent rigidity. Unlike low quality plates, it will not be veiled or distorted.
Stainless steel, easy to maintain and resistant, can stay outside any time even by the sea. Odors disappear between two dishes at the same time as the cooking juices. For that, cold water to deglaze on the hot plate before wiping it will give you an impeccable result.
In the lower right corner of the griddle is the drain hole for grease and cooking juices. The turn of this evacuation is stamped to allow the juice to evacuate implément, without stagnating around the orifice.
The width of the plancha of 45 cm and its depth of 31 cm give you a good workspace to cook for 2 to 5 guests.

The Baigura plancha is the only model equipped with an extractor hood integrated into the tilting lid. This innovation has also been awarded in the Lépine competition, the great French invention contest.

The hood is made of rust-resistant galvanized steel and is powder-coated with a black baked paint.

The second essential point for a gas plancha is its power. Indeed, it is necessary to be able to heat the plate quickly and uniformly.
The electrical resistance of 2,000 watts and 10 amps ensures a temperature rise in 5 minutes on the entire stainless steel hob. A galvanized metal plate under the resistor acts as a heat reflector to accelerate the temperature rise and limit the loss of calories.
The temperature is adjustable from 50 to 300 ° C with a large thermostat knob on the front panel.

Stainless steel 18/10 anti-traces coating.
All the cladding, including the control panel and the sides are in 18/10 non-ferritic stainless steel. That is, this stainless steel is particularly resistant to corrosion.
The set, at the front and laterally, is in stainless steel with a structured finish "linen cloth" avoiding fingerprints found on mirror-polished stainless steel.
At the front, you will find the juice drawer and large capacity grease which is also all stainless steel and is dishwasher safe.

The lower bottom of the plancha is made of galvanized steel plate resistant to moisture and rust.
