The base is 18.7 cm in diameter and 8 mm thick.  

Made from die-cast aluminium, it's extremely strong and durable.
Cast aluminium provides excellent heat distribution for even cooking and responsive temperature variation, so you can control your cooking and save energy as the temperature rises.
A stainless steel disc in the non-deformable base makes the non-stick pan compatible with all burners, including induction.
The professional non-stick coating offers long-lasting resistance and is oven-safe up to 250°C.
The bases used to support the handles are made from solidly riveted stainless steel.
