It is a first for ceramics. There are certainly ceramic dishes and cooking utensils compatible with induction, but with significant fragility and manufacturing processes that do not allow large series.
After several years of research, an advanced ceramic created with high technologies, in particular for very precise firing, makes it possible to obtain a high-quality ceramic dish with the added bonus of new characteristics that are retoruved in other materials like cast iron.
This ceramic therefore passes over all fires such as the flame, the oven, the electric and ceramic hobs, but also the induction hobs, even with the booster function, without this weakening the casserole dish. It is therefore possible to heat it quickly and strongly without fear of deforming or weakening it and thus exploiting the advantages of induction to the maximum.

In parallel to this reactivity, this casserole dish keeps all the properties of ceramic like inertia and allows to simmer with a soft and regular heat rendered by the material. This inertia keeps your dishes warm during service for at least 30 minutes, which makes it possible to serve late guests or to make a second service with an always hot dish, which is very pleasant.  

Resistant, durable and healthy enamel.
The enamel finish of the ceramic creates a very solid, smooth and perfectly stable and healthy coating. The perfectly smooth enamel is easy to clean, does not catch, does not impregnate odor.
In use, it is also very practical because its resistance allows the use of metal utensils, even knives, to cook, or even cut poultry and roasts in the baking dish.
The casserole dish goes into the dishwasher without worries.

First of all, large and generous curves at the bottom make it easy to stir and easily clean the casserole dish. They also prevent food from staying in a corner and burns when cooked.
The handles, wide and lined by those of the lid, allow you to handle the casserole alone or with its lid without thinking, with ease.
The large cover button which incorporates the Emile Henry brand logo makes it easy to take the cover and put the cover upside down without dirtying or burning the worktop. Closed lid, it allows to rest a spatula or a spoon.
Finally, the pins on the inside of the lid and the tuck-in rim ensure continuous watering of your dishes during cooking to keep your meats and vegetables tender and fluffy.
