Marcato Otello Sky Champagne Limited Edition Pasta Machine

Otello Champagne pasta machine series limited by Marcato.
To celebrate in 2017 the 110th anniversary of the birth of Otello Marcato (1907) who invented the pasta machine in 1930, Marcato produced this limited edition in Champagne color.  

This fresh pasta machine allows with its rolling mill and its accessories:
- to stretch the dough (laminate) by adjusting the thickness to 7 different positions from 0.8 to 4 mm, for all Italian pasta. Realize lasagna but also sheets of dough to cut by hand with a roulette or a roll, funds of pies, biscuits, or auricles, wonders, bugnes and chichis,
- to cut the dough for tagliolini or taglierini 1.5 mm wide,
- to cut the dough for fettuccine or tagliatelle of 6.5 wide.  

The rolls of the rolling mill are 15 cm wide and are made of anodized aluminum alloy hardened, they do not wear out and therefore avoid leaving traces of metal in the pasta. Their surface offers a very fine roughness, almost invisible but you will feel the taste because the pasta or dry will be porous and absorb sauces and seasonings. The thickness, according to the spacing of the rollers, is very easily adjusted with the metal selector present on the side, among the seven choices (0.8 mm, 1.3 mm, 2 mm, 2.8 mm, 3 , 2 mm, 3.5 mm and 4 mm).
The structure is in hard chrome aluminum, very resistant.
The stainless steel removable tray is easy to clean and easily positioned in front of each roll.
Quick and easy bayonet fixing crank. Handle in ash wood matching the support.
Support base in solid ash wood with fastening by press vise offering great stability.
Steel gears, high resistance polymer resin combs and removable scrapers for resin cleaning.
