The Y-shaped razor peeler has a smooth and sharp blade on 2 sides so that it can work in a back-and-forth motion. Pivoting, its blade is flexible in order to follow the contours of the vegetable and thus avoid any waste. This Y peeler is particularly practical for long vegetables (carrots, zucchini, etc.) and round vegetables that require support to peel them (pumpkins, turnips, etc.). This peeler comes with a transparent, flip-up safety cap to protect the blade and not risk getting cut. One side of the peeler is provided with a pin to remove imperfections or damaged parts of the fruit. Finally, its Santoprene handle is characteristic of the best OXO products, it is non-slip therefore practical for working with wet hands and very ergonomic for maximum comfort even with very repetitive movements. The small cushions on the sides of the handle absorb the pressure during use, very useful when you have grip problems.
