Imperial Star artichoke seeds.
This variety, whose historical origin is Italy, produces 7 to 8 flower heads 10 to 12 cm in diameter.  

Sowing in pots and under light shelter: February-March-April-September-October
Sow in pockets of 2 to 3 seeds. Transplant the best seedling at the two-leaf stage, about 2 months later.
It is possible to sow in the ground, at 1 m in all directions, on fresh and rich but sunny humus soil.  

Harvest: April-May-June-August-September-October
This variety exhibits vigorous growth.
The flower heads offer fine flesh, green tinged with purple in color and excellent flavor.
