Coriander seeds.
Native to southwestern Europe and the Middle East, cilantro was already known to the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Recognized for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, its seeds and leaves have been used in cooking since the Middle Ages in Europe. Source of vitamin K, necessary for blood coagulation, this medicinal herb is also stimulating, invigorating for the body and helps fight against fatigue and flu-like symptoms.  

This variety produces small white or pale pink flowers and green, rounded and serrated foliage offering a very aromatic flavor.  

Sowing under shelter: March-April
Full ground sowing: April-May-June-July-August
Seeding aid: prefers loose, light and well-drained soils. Keep it moist if you sow directly in place in a sunny location.  

Growing aid: coriander goes to seed quickly. Better to spread the seedlings to enjoy them for a long time.  

Harvest: September-October.
Harvesting aid: The leaves are harvested young, as needed.  

Advice: water in dry weather, foliar fertilization before flowering.
