In technical terms
The engineers at Hurom started over with the HG 2G. The principle of vertical extraction by slow rotation has of course been retained, but in order to optimise the performance, the active pieces have been redesigned. Firstly, the screw, whose double helicoidal lip has been reworked to grind the fruit and vegetables more actively and push them towards the base of the appliance. Instead of exerting pressure from the side and having the juice come out through the strainer in the upper part, the force is mainly exerted from top to bottom. The advantage is that the juice is extracted in the juice and contact with the air is kept to a minimum. For the same reason, Hurom has developed an ingenious system for managing the residual matter. Bolstering the grinding action of the screw, it was imperative that the ground fibres continue to be mixed with the juice without being in contact with the air. In concrete terms, when you activate the adjustable handle, you play with the pressure inside the machine. When closed, you grind and crush the fruit, herbs or vegetables until the pressure is sufficiently strong fpr the dry matter to come out by pushing on the flap. When you open it, the flap becomes thinner and the passage is facilitated. This technical prowess means that you can get richer juice more quickly.
In practical terms
The attractive appearance and compact size of the HG 2G are unmistakable: this juicer is designed to remain in position, ready for use at any time. Fancy some juice? Cut up some fruit and pop it in the machine. Noiselessly, the juice will rise up through the transparent receptacle (BPA free of course), and you can simply remove the cap to fill your glass. To rinse, close everything and pour water into the opening. The rotating brushes will clean the strainer and you are ready to make some more juice.
