Vertus straw yellow onion seeds.
This ancient truth is very productive. It offers bulbs 8 to 10 cm in diameter which can be stored for up to 8 months.
This French variety is described in Vilmorin-Andrieux's work "Les Plantes potagère" from 1883.  

Sowing under shelter: September-October-November
Sow in shelves, cover the seeds lightly, seal and water.  

Sowing in the ground: March-April-May
Transplant in the ground after the last frosts when the plants reach ten centimeters, every 15 cm in rows spaced 20 cm apart.
For direct sowing in place, sow clear in rows 20 cm apart.
Autumn sowing is possible in regions with a mild climate. The harvest will then take place next spring.
Exposure: sunny
Nature and quality of the soil: humus, light, loose and drained.
Weak waterings.
