This old variety, native to Europe, has been listed since 1883 in the Vilmorin-Andrieux "Les Plantes Potagère" catalog.
This arugula offers a rosette of wavy green leaves that are usually eaten raw in salads. Cooked in soups or sauces, their spicy taste pleasantly enhances your dishes. The flowers of the arugula attract pollinating insects, do not hesitate to let some plants go to seeds!  

Sowing in the ground: March-April-May-June-July-August-September in partial shade to sunny exposure.
Sowing aid: direct sowing from March to September, broadcast or in rows spaced 25 to 30 cm apart.  

Growing aid: thin out 7 to 8 cm in the row. Strong need for water.  

Harvest: May-June-July-August-September-October-November.
Harvesting aid: cut the leaves at ground level as needed and regularly. Prefer young shoots.  

Tips: carry out weeding and hoeing, keep the soil moist and water frequently to have tender leaves.
