This ancient variety, whose historical origin is Italy, produces between 8 and 10 fruits that can reach 20 cm and a weight of 100 to 200 g. Oval in shape and pale purple in color with hints of white, its flesh is tender and tasty.  

Sowing in pots and under cover: February-March-April.
The ideal temperature for sowing is 24 ° C, under a bright shelter. Transplant into individual pots when there are 2 to 3 leaves.
In order to facilitate germination, you can place the seeds for a week in the refrigerator, between 4 and 5 ° C.

Harvesting aid: harvest the fruits a little before maturity at the end of July, by cutting 2 cm from the peduncle. To be consumed quickly after harvest.
