The Nice Round Zucchini is a non-running, hasty, very productive zucchini. Its flesh is fine, tender and melting. It has purifying, diuretic, laxative, nutritious and refreshing properties. Good balance between sodium and potassium. It is a source of vitamins B9 and C, which are good for cell renewal and the immune system.  

Sowing under shelter: February-March-April-May.
Full ground sowing: March-April-May-June
Sowing aid: sowing in buckets under shelter in April, possibility of direct sowing with compost, 2 to 3 weeks before installation. Place 2 or 3 seeds 1 to 2 cm deep in each hole. Keep a distance of 1 m in all directions.  

Growing aid: transplant when the plants have 4 to 5 leaves in a light, cool, loose soil, rich in humus.  

Harvest: May-June-July-August-September-October
Harvesting aid: harvest fairly young, as they develop and need, keep for several days in a cool place.  

Tips: Likes sunny exposures. Water frequently. Mulch the soil. Weed and hoe regularly.

This old variety originates from the south of France and has been mentioned since 1903.
